Role Description
Part-time remote Technical Product Owner role within a Systems and Biomedical Engineering Department.
Translate academic and research needs into product requirements for software tools, data platforms, and digital health solutions.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and prioritize the product backlog.
- Coordinate with faculty, researchers, technical teams, students, and external partners.
- Write user stories, define acceptance criteria, and support release planning.
- Monitor product performance and feedback.
- Contribute to documentation, risk assessment, and continuous improvement of departmental digital products and services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, computer science, biomedical engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong analytical, product management, business analysis, communication, and software development familiarity.
- Experience with agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar platforms.
- Background or interest in healthcare, biomedical engineering, or digital health technologies is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in academic or research-driven environments.
