Opportunity Snapshot

Pixieset is seeking a technically fluent Product Manager to shape and deliver platform capabilities supporting more than 1 million photographers and creative professionals.

The role works across two Platform engineering teams and turns complex technical problems into clear product decisions and practical solutions.

The position collaborates with Engineering, Product, Design, and company leadership to establish direction and keep initiatives moving.

Your Impact

  • Shape product direction and own day-to-day execution across two Platform engineering teams.
  • Translate technical problems into product decisions, priorities, requirements, milestones, and incremental releases.
  • Collaborate with Engineering on constraints and tradeoffs while keeping decisions anchored in customer and business needs.
  • Build stakeholder relationships, synthesize input, make recommendations, and manage dependencies and decisions.
  • Create product requirements, concepts, and low-fidelity wireframes where needed.
  • Track project status, risks, dependencies, decisions, and milestones.
  • Support rollouts, migrations, and releases across multiple Pixieset products.
  • Use customer, business, and product signals to improve owned platform capabilities.

Role Requirements

  • At least 2 years of Product Management experience or equivalent experience owning and delivering software products or technical initiatives.
  • A strong technical foundation from Engineering, Computer Science, Technical Product Management, or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Ability to understand software systems, technical constraints, engineering tradeoffs, and customer and business problems.
  • Strong product judgment, decision-making with incomplete information, communication, stakeholder management, adaptability, and curiosity.
  • A bias toward action, simplicity, and incremental delivery.

What We Offer

  • Hybrid work environment with two in-office days per week.
  • Four weeks of annual vacation and paid time off for office holiday closure.
  • Benefits include RRSP matching, health and lifestyle spending, education funding, charitable donation matching, insurance, a company MacBook, and a home office budget.
  • The company provides anniversary rewards, a complimentary Pixieset premium account, team-building activities, and company-wide events.

Compensation

  • The typical salary range is CAD $95,000 to $131,250 annually.
  • Salary offered depends on skills, experience, and market data.
