Technical Officer – Biomedical Engineering Corporate Services & Clinical Support Directorate

About the role The Biomedical Engineering Team at Dubbo Health Service are seeking applications from experienced technicians to join our diverse, collaborative and supportive team of approximately 10 staff.

This is a challenging and rewarding role where no two days are the same.

Working Monday to Friday, biomedical technicians work with a wide range of medical technologies and healthcare professionals, providing variety and ongoing opportunities.

You will have access to a structured orientation with internal mentorship and training available.

Basic electronics knowledge or experience is desirable.

Professional development and learning opportunities are available to enhance technical and practical skills within Biomedical Engineering.

Some of the day-to-day responsibilities of the position include acceptance testing of medical equipment, calibration and performance verification of medical devices, preventative maintenance activities, fault diagnosis and repair of biomedical equipment as well as maintaining accurate documentation and record keeping.
