About the role Western NSW Local Health District is seeking a passionate and dedicated Peer Navigator to join our team on a temporary full-time basis and based in Coonamble offering support to the surrounding regional areas .
Working closely with the Community Mental Health Team, local NGOs, community organisations, and other key stakeholders, the Peer Navigator role supports consumers to engage in their treatment and recovery goals while encouraging participation in activities that enhance mental health and wellbeing.
You will contribute to a recovery-oriented service culture and work collaboratively with consumers, carers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive outcomes.
