Technical Lead, Aerospace Development

Developing acceptance criteria for design methodologies, quality standards, sustainment activities, and project timelines

Inspecting malfunctioning or damaged systems to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions

Experience designing and developing a variety of aerospace products, including: Commercial and military fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters Remotely piloted aircraft systems (RPAS) and rotorcraft Space systems, including launch vehicles and satellites Military missiles and rocket systems

Ability to demonstrate a minimum of 6 years of experience (in the last 8 years) in the preparation of technical airworthiness documentation, which includes: Technical Airworthiness Clearance Plans Special Purpose Flight Permits Airworthiness Risk Assessments Statements of Operational Intent Engineering Process Manual Supplements (EPMS)

Ability to demonstrate a minimum of 6 years experience in each of the following: Developing briefing notes and presentations to address engineering and technical issues pertaining to equipment. Liaising with stakeholders to support the life cycle management of equipment. Providing advice, guidance and recommendations on technical issues to support the decision-making of senior management.

Must currently hold or be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret (Level II) Canadian Federal Government Security clearance.

Would be required to hold a Controlled Goods Certificate at time of hire.
