Ability to demonstrate a minimum of 6 years of experience (within the last 8 years) performing the following tasks in the aerospace industry or related field: Directing and coordinating the design, manufacture, and testing of aircraft and aerospace products. Evaluating designs to ensure compliance with engineering principles, customer requirements, and environmental regulations Developing acceptance criteria for design methodologies, quality standards, sustainment activities, and project timelines Inspecting malfunctioning or damaged systems to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions Experience designing and developing a variety of aerospace products, including: Commercial and military fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters Remotely piloted aircraft systems (RPAS) and rotorcraft Space systems, including launch vehicles and satellites Military missiles and rocket systems
