Role Overview
This is a full-time, on-site Technical Engineer Kitchen Equipment role based in Abu Dhabi.
The role oversees installation, commissioning, and maintenance of commercial kitchen equipment while supporting performance, safety, and hygiene standards.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair equipment faults and perform routine inspections.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams and prepare technical reports and documentation.
- Support kitchen staff with equipment usage guidelines.
- Contribute to layout and design recommendations for new projects.
- Respond to customer service requests promptly and professionally.
- Follow company procedures and participate in quality and safety audits.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of service processes.
Qualifications
- Technical expertise in commercial kitchen equipment installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting is required.
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking processes, and kitchen workflows is required.
- Strong understanding of hygiene, safety standards, and commercial kitchen regulatory requirements is required.
- A diploma or degree in mechanical, electrical, or a related engineering field is required.
- Technical certification in kitchen or HVAC equipment is advantageous.
- Experience in hospitality, facilities management, or GCC food service operations is preferred.
- Applicants must be able to read technical drawings and equipment manuals and prepare clear reports.
- Strong communication, customer service, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills are required.
- The role requires on-site work in a fast-paced environment.
