Education and Experience - Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, communications, history, or a similar writing-intensive discipline—or a bachelor’s degree in a scientific field such as environmental science or biology—and at least 3 years of editorial experience; this experience can include internships and part-time roles so long as they featured writing/editing as a core component of the position. A master’s degree in a writing-intensive, research-focused field and prior editorial experience with an environmental or AEC firm are preferred. - Familiarity with policies and practices related to U.S. accessibility compliance, including the willingness to learn specialized software (CommonLook) to remediate documents in Word and/or PDF.
