Role overview
AECOM is seeking a Technical Director-level Electrical Engineer for its national building engineering team in Adelaide.
The role leads technical delivery and manages a large multidisciplinary team of building services engineers and modellers.
Projects span Australia and New Zealand across health, education, defence, transport, commercial, aviation, sports and data centres.
Key responsibilities
- Lead complex multidisciplinary building project delivery.
- Provide technical leadership and governance for electrical building services design.
- Review calculations, specifications, models and documentation for quality and coordination.
- Build client relationships, support business development and secure project pipeline.
- Mentor multidisciplinary engineers and strengthen building services capability across ANZ.
Required qualifications and experience
- Bachelor of Electrical Engineering.
- Ideally 20 or more years of consultancy experience delivering complex building services projects.
- Extensive electrical design expertise and deep knowledge of Australian codes, standards and regulations.
