Technical and design coordination role within a Dubai interior fit-out business.
The position manages technical design resources and coordinates consultants, project teams, and site teams.
The role focuses on technically achievable, coordinated designs rather than creative design.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage CAD and technical design resources.
- Coordinate architects, interior designers, consultants, project teams, and site teams.
- Review drawings, technical documentation, shop drawings, details, and design revisions.
- Resolve clashes, discrepancies, technical queries, and RFIs.
- Ensure construction and installation follow approved drawings, specifications, and design intent.
- Monitor deliverable quality and maintain technical coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
- Mentor the technical design team and ensure deadlines and deliverables are met.
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in architecture, interior design, engineering, construction, or a related discipline.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience, preferably in interior fit-out or construction.
- Experience leading a technical or CAD design team.
- Strong understanding of fit-out methods, materials, buildability, and technical documentation.
- AutoCAD proficiency is essential; Revit or BIM knowledge is advantageous.
- UAE or GCC fit-out experience is highly desirable.
