Support delivery of a strategic inventory management system for physical commodities.
The initial focus is on precious and base metals, with planned expansion into energy and agricultural commodities.
Work with the Product Manager, business stakeholders, and technology teams to define requirements, design solutions, and support delivery.
Work Arrangement
- The role is based in Toronto, Ontario.
- The work arrangement is hybrid, with three days in the office and two days remote.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Product Managers, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to define and deliver business and technical requirements.
- Create and maintain business requirements, process flows, product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Analyze inventory, logistics, trade operations, data flows, system integrations, and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with architects and developers to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Support SIT/UAT testing, defect triage, implementation, and production releases.
- Assist with backlog management and align delivered solutions with business objectives and operational processes.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in physical commodity inventory management, trade operations, scheduling, logistics, or supply chain.
- Experience with precious metals, base metals, energy, or agricultural commodities.
- Experience with system integrations, enterprise applications, APIs, messaging platforms, and data analysis.
Ideal Candidate
- At least 5 years of technical business analysis, SQL, database, and scripting experience.
- Strong Agile delivery experience.
- Experience working across business and technology teams.
