Technical Architect role based in Dubai, UAE.
The position focuses on scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications.
The role provides technical leadership across Java, cloud, microservices, and DevOps technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design enterprise application architecture using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and manage the architecture roadmap.
- Drive architectural governance, technical debt reduction, and cloud-native platform modernization.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
- Guide and mentor development teams and govern implementation against architecture definitions.
- Work with infrastructure teams to develop solutions aligned with technology standards.
Technical Stack and Requirements
- Core technologies include Java, Spring Boot, React, Next.js, and Node.js.
- Databases and integration technologies include Oracle, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, REST APIs, Kafka, RabbitMQ, and Solace.
- Practices and tools include CI/CD, DevOps, TDD, AI/ML tools, Splunk, and AppDynamics.
- Architectural principles include Domain-Driven Design, microservices, event-driven architecture, cloud-native architecture, CQRS, serverless computing, and API-first design.
Qualifications
- 12+ years of Java development experience are required.
- 5+ years of experience in an Architect role are required.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
- Relevant Java and Cloud certifications are preferred.
