Job summary
Edge Corporation is seeking a Senior QA Engineer with 6–8 years of experience.
The role covers manual and automation testing for web and mobile software.
The position includes API, database, performance, and emerging AI testing practices.
Key responsibilities
- Perform end-to-end testing across web and mobile applications, browsers, and devices.
- Conduct front-end UI testing for responsiveness, usability, and visual consistency.
- Execute manual testing with proxy or interceptor tools such as Proxyman or Charles.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts with Selenium, Appium, Playwright, and Python.
- Design and execute performance and load tests using JMeter.
- Perform REST and GraphQL API testing with Postman or similar frameworks.
- Conduct database testing with SQL to verify integrity and backend validation.
- Participate in AI/ML testing, including model output, data quality, and bias validation.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps in an Agile environment.
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
- Contribute to test planning, case design, and strategy improvements.
- Continuously improve QA processes, tools, and frameworks.
