Role summary
WinWire is seeking a seasoned Technical Architect to build scalable, enterprise-grade data platforms on AWS.
The role combines hands-on engineering expertise with architectural leadership and is not limited to oversight.
The position supports AWS data engineering and analytics capabilities, customer delivery, and scalable data solutions.
What you’ll do
- Design enterprise-level AWS data architecture for scalability, security, performance, and business alignment.
- Architect, develop, and oversee AWS data lake and lakehouse solutions using services such as S3, Glue, Redshift, Athena, EMR, Lambda, and Lake Formation.
- Lead robust batch and real-time ETL/ELT pipelines with strong data quality, reliability, and performance.
- Define conceptual, logical, and physical data models, including Star and Snowflake schemas.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical architecture and data solutions.
- Provide hands-on leadership in SQL, Python/PySpark, query optimization, and large-scale performance tuning.
- Define data governance, security, encryption, masking, access control, and compliance frameworks.
- Guide CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code with Terraform or CloudFormation, and DevOps practices.
- Review solution designs and code for architecture standards and scalability.
- Align data strategy with product teams and leadership.
