About the role
Zego is hiring a Technical Sourcer for a six-month fixed-term contract in its Talent Acquisition team.
The role owns the top of the funnel for Engineering hiring and focuses on sourcing Software Engineers, Senior Software Engineers, Engineering Managers, and full-stack talent.
What you'll be doing
- Proactively source high-quality engineering candidates across multiple channels.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for Software Engineering and Data functions.
- Serve as the first candidate contact, run initial calls, record findings, and support a positive candidate experience.
- Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to define suitable candidates for each role.
- Use AI to improve outreach, identify pipeline patterns, and find sourcing efficiencies.
- Track and report sourcing metrics.
What you'll need to be successful
- At least two years of sourcing experience with a strong track record in Software Engineering and Data roles.
- Experience recruiting in a start-up or scale-up environment and working with ambiguity and shifting priorities.
- Confidence using LinkedIn Recruiter and Juicebox.
- Curiosity about applying AI tools to improve productivity and sourcing outcomes.
- Strong writing and communication skills for creating candidate conversations.
- Consistent attention to detail in notes, handovers, and processes.
- Comfort using sourcing metrics to improve work, not only report results.

- Sourcing tools include LinkedIn Recruiter and Juicebox.
- The ATS is Workable.
- Collaboration tools include Notion, Slack, and Google Meet.
- Interview and note-taking tools include Granola.
- AI and automation tools include Claude, Gemini, and Zapier.
Ways of working
- The role follows a hybrid working model.
- Teams collaborate from the central London office weekly, monthly, or quarterly depending on team needs.
- Teams meet quarterly, and the whole company meets annually.
