Tech Maintenance Assistant

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Install, service, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on refrigeration systems and equipment.
• Complete planned site and customer visits and resolve dispatched customer requests or calls.
• Maintain and repair system malfunctions under close supervision, escalating issues when appropriate.
• Interpret electrical, fluid, piping, and psychrometric diagrams and other technical documents.
• Communicate with customers about service work, system status, operating problems, and needs.
• Document completed work and promptly submit clear and concise service reports.
• Recommend system enhancements, upgrades, replacements, and additional labor or material work.
• Advise and train customers in system operations.
• Maintain technical proficiency in Johnson Controls product lines.
• Follow applicable safety, environmental, and industry regulations.

Required Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in a specific trade such as HVAC or refrigeration.
• At least two years of experience in a relevant field.
• Basic product knowledge and ability to develop an overall system understanding.
• Fluent English language skills.
• Ability to understand electrical, fluid, piping, and psychrometric diagrams.

Work Environment

• The position is based in Qatar and includes customer and site visits as part of field operations.
