Tech & Data Program Summer 2027 - Software Engineer Intern (Hartford)

Depending on your role and project assignments, your experience may include:

Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and services that support business and customer needs.

Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and business stakeholders in an Agile environment to deliver technology solutions.

Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including coding, debugging, testing, deployment, documentation, and code reviews.

Leverage modern programming languages, development frameworks, databases, and cloud technologies to build scalable and reliable solutions.

Use AI-powered development tools and explore emerging technologies to enhance productivity, improve software quality, and support innovation.

Apply technical and analytical problem-solving skills to improve application performance, security, and customer experiences, and present outcomes to stakeholders.

Programming Languages: Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, SQL, .NET

Web Development: HTML, CSS, React, Angular, APIs, or modern web application frameworks

Cloud Technologies: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform

Software Engineering Practices: Object-oriented programming, testing frameworks, source control, CI/CD, or DevOps concepts

Cybersecurity: Secure coding practices, cyber defense concepts, or security frameworks

AI & Emerging Technologies: Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, generative AI tools, or interest in applying emerging technologies to business challenges

Agile Ways of Working: Experience working on Agile teams, collaborative projects, or product-focused development efforts
