To manage a self-directing, multi-functional team in the manufacture and packaging of infant formula products while maintaining internal and regulatory standards and continuously improving production efficiencies in a safe manner Key Responsibilities: Works as part of the departmental management team to achieve business goals and develop & implement strategies. Plans and executes plant run times to meet master production schedule. Directs labor resources to achieve required manning levels in production areas. Ensures regulatory, quality and hygiene standards are maintained within the department and that necessary documentation is completed. Assists with the management of departmental health & safety compliance and with implementation of corrective actions. Facilitate problem-solving sessions to rectify production issues. Manages training needs and staff performance within area of responsibility. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in dairy / food technology, or a related field. At least 2 years of experience at supervisory level reporting to plant manager.
