Undertake inspections and oversee work practices to ensure assets are maintained safely, efficiently and in line with industry and Council standard

We offer a competitive salary from $81,327 to $89,563 plus 12% superannuation.
This position will attract allowances in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2026, including the Adverse Working Conditions Allowance where applicable.

About you We're looking for someone who enjoys leading people, takes pride in quality work and is committed to creating safe, well-maintained public spaces.
You will also bring:
Experience leading, coordinating or mentoring teams in a trades, maintenance or operational environment.
Practical carpentry, construction or asset maintenance experience, with the ability to plan work, solve problems and deliver quality outcomes.
A strong commitment to safety, teamwork and customer service.
The ability to build positive working relationships and support others to achieve their best.
To be considered for this role, you must also meet the essential requirements in the Position Description , including the below Qualifications/Licences:
Minimum certificate III qualification in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, building and construction and landscape construction relevant to role/area of specialisation.
Level 2 playground inspection certificate (AHCPGD311)
Current NSW Driver’s Licence
Construction industry certificate (White Card)
