SUMMARY OF THE ROLE Team Lead Engineering Working at Dubai, UAE At Mammoet, we develop safe and efficient heavy lifting and transport solutions for some of the world's most challenging projects. As Team Lead Engineering, you will lead a team of engineers while overseeing the delivery of high-quality engineering solutions that support project success and operational excellence. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING Lead, coach and develop a team of engineers. Plan and allocate engineering resources across multiple projects. Review and approve engineering deliverables, including calculations, lift plans, drawings and risk assessments. Provide technical guidance and support for complex heavy lifting and transport solutions. Collaborate with Operations, Sales and Project Management to deliver safe and effective project outcomes. Monitor engineering quality, compliance, performance and continuous improvement initiatives. Manage departmental reporting, budgets and resource utilization. WHAT YOU’LL NEED Professional level experience in engineering operation practices and systems, HLT equipment, internal codes and standards\ Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or equivalent. 8-12 years of relevant engineering experience, preferably within heavy lifting, construction, offshore, oil & gas, mining or related industries. Previous experience leading or supervising engineering teams. Strong knowledge of engineering calculations, risk assessments and international engineering standards. Excellent communication, stakeholder management and people leadership skills.
