How you'll make an impact Responsibilities: This position is responsible for key tasks related to financial systems testing, integration, support and reporting. Essential functions of the role are to lead testing and implementation of agency system upgrades and production maintenance while partnering with internal and external vendor development teams to test, implement or resolve production issues. Incumbent(s) are also responsible for supporting of Epic accounting system processes and users with production issues and follow-up/tracking of issues with Applied Systems in addition to managing accounting-related help desk tickets and communicate with users the status of the issues. Develop and maintain accounting system procedures and testing documentation, maintain organization of all electronic files for the accounting center as directed, and maintain accounting/system support files. May also act as analytical or procedural expert and represent team on cross-functional process or project deliverables and may provide guidance to lower level staff, but has no formal supervisory responsibility. About you Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (Accounting/Finance or Informations Systems) Minimum of 6 years hands-on experience with accounting systems and processes. Expert level proficiency in Excel. Strong accounting trade/accounting process knowledge as well as application support or relevant production, technical support and problem/incident management experience. Preferred: Demonstrated ability to take initiative and achieve results in a fast-paced and changing environment. Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize issues. Excellent documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical/problem solving skills and exceptional attention to numeric detail. Behaviors: Demonstrated customer service focus with a keen sense of urgency in assertively working to solve system problems with outside vendors and others. Strong teamwork orientation; willingness to help larger team meet goals and responsibilities. Ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff including Corporate Executives and ability to work well with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and defects.
