Role Overview
The role provides hands-on technical leadership to a multidisciplinary simulation team solving thermal challenges across data center, high-power connectivity, liquid cooling, automotive, and industrial applications.
The work combines thermal engineering and CFD expertise with technical guidance, simulation standards, model review, and coordination of technical programs.
The team supports predictive engineering, simulation, and Virtual Product Qualification across thermal, structural mechanics, signal integrity, electromagnetic compatibility, and multiphysics domains.
What You Will Do
- Lead thermal and CFD simulation programs involving liquid-cooled cold plates, manifolds, microchannels, heat exchangers, air cooling, immersion cooling, and high-power connector systems.
- Review simulation methods, assumptions, boundary conditions, mesh strategies, material properties, convergence criteria, and results.
- Guide engineers in heat transfer, thermal resistance, pressure-drop, flow-distribution, junction-temperature, and thermal interface material analyses.
- Mentor simulation engineers and coordinate multidisciplinary technical work.
- Establish simulation standards, templates, quality gates, and best practices.
