Physical Security Engineer

Are you passionate about designing and securing enterprise-scale physical security systems that protect people, facilities, and critical assets? Molex is seeking a Physical Security Engineer to lead the design, implementation, integration, and support of global physical security platforms. In this role, you will serve as the technical subject matter expert for video surveillance, access control, and enterprise security technologies, ensuring systems are reliable, scalable, secure, and aligned with operational requirements.

You will collaborate with global stakeholders, IT teams, facilities, vendors, and security partners to architect and support Genetec-based security solutions while driving innovation through automation, integrations, and continuous improvement.

The Global Physical Security team is responsible for protecting Molex employees, facilities, and assets through the design and operation of enterprise security solutions. The team supports access control, video surveillance, security system integrations, and global security operations while partnering closely with Facilities, IT, Cybersecurity, HR, and external vendors to maintain a secure and compliant environment.

Genetec Security Center certifications.

Hands-on experience with Omnicast, Synergis, Federation, Security Center Directory, Archiver, Media Router, and Access Manager.

Experience integrating physical security platforms with HR systems, identity management platforms, and enterprise applications.

Proficiency with scripting, APIs, SDK development, and automation technologies.

AutoCAD experience for system documentation, security layouts, and engineering drawings.

Knowledge of cybersecurity principles related to physical security systems.

Experience supporting enterprise deployments across multiple global locations.

Familiarity with project management methodologies and continuous improvement practices.

Experience with compliance and regulatory frameworks including GDPR, ISO, and SOC controls.
