Role Overview
The Team Lead assists supervisors with daily department operations and oversees area activities.
The role monitors and assigns work, tracks personnel transactions, and supports warehouse performance.
Tasks
- Act as an expert in RF, conveyor, and warehouse management systems and understand links between operational areas.
- Coordinate with operations teams to meet daily performance targets.
- Monitor activity, communicate risks, and prepare recovery plans for targets at risk.
- Communicate exceptions to the account team and follow up on operational issues.
- Identify improvement opportunities, report daily efficiency, and oversee personnel professionally.
- Monitor consumables, create SAP requisitions, investigate inventory exceptions, and assign cycle counts.
- Be flexible with shift hours as needed.
Qualifications
- At least two years of leadership experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
