Overview

We are seeking expressions of interest from candidates seeking to be Teaching Assistants for university-level courses in areas including Agricultural & Food Sciences; Arts; Business; Engineering; Environment, Earth, & Resources; Recreation Management & Community Development; or Science.

Key Responsibilities
- Meeting with course instructor(s) for onboarding and adherence to course delivery requirements
- Preparing and presenting tutorials in an English-only format
- Providing written feedback to students on the quality of material presented for grading or marking
- Administering and marking appropriate assessment instruments (ex: quizzes)
- May be required in assisting with the production of lab assessments under the supervision of the course instructor(s).
Essential Skills, Knowledge, & Experience
- Completion of academic studies and experience which have resulted in an expertise specifically appropriate to assisting in the instruction of the course(s) assigned
