Charles Sturt University Sydney is seeking a qualified and dedicated Workplace Learning Co-ordinator/Lecturer in Social Work to support the growth and academic excellence of its postgraduate programs. The role will lead the development and maintenance of strong relationships with industry, employers, community organisations and professional networks to create high-quality workplace learning and placement opportunities for students.
The successful candidate will proactively engage with organisations across social work, human services, health and community sectors to identify, establish and expand placement opportunities aligned with students’ learning and career goals. This includes developing sustainable industry partnerships, strengthening existing stakeholder relationships and creating new connections with potential placement providers.
The role will support students undertaking workplace learning at postgraduate levels, while contributing to placements, teaching and student engagement. A key requirement is demonstrated capability in networking, stakeholder engagement, partnership development and converting industry connections into meaningful placement opportunities that prepare students to become ethical, reflective and work ready professionals.
