  • Nord Anglia Education is looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to join Etqan Global Academy (EGA) in Doha, Qatar.
  • Etqan Global Academy (EGA) is a newly established IB World School in Doha, Qatar, offering the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) and Middle Years Programme (MYP).
  • We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team, supporting teachers across phases to deliver outstanding learning experiences and ensuring every student has the support they need to succeed.
  • The role:
  • We seek an individual to join as Teaching Assistant where your focus will be:
  • Supporting class teachers in delivering high-quality, differentiated learning experiences in line with the IB PYP and MYP frameworks
  • Working with individual students, small groups or the whole class as directed, providing targeted and effective in-class support
  • Helping to prepare resources, materials and the learning environment ahead of lessons
  • Assisting students in accessing the curriculum, fostering independence, resilience and a genuine love of learning
  • Promoting positive behaviour and supporting the school's behaviour for learning expectations
  • Contributing to the monitoring and documentation of student progress, including portfolio evidence
  • Supporting the use of ICT and learning technology in the classroom
  • Contributing positively to the wider life of EGA and the school community
  • The Successful Candidate will possess:
  • A Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent (e.g. CACHE, NVQ Level 3)
  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant in a school setting
  • Ability to support differentiated learning for students with a range of abilities and needs
  • Good cross-cultural, interpersonal and communication skills to interact with diverse nationalities and cultures
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
  • Organised, reliable and able to use initiative and work effectively as part of a team
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children
  • Experience in an international or IB school desirable
