About the Role
The organization seeks an experienced Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant to support teachers and students with classroom activities, learning tasks, educational resources, engagement, and individualized academic support.
The role requires a patient, organized, encouraging professional who can adapt support to different learning abilities and student needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Support teachers with daily classroom activities, lesson preparation, learning tasks, classroom management, and transitions between activities.
- Assist students with individual and small-group activities, differentiated learning, assignments, assessments, projects, group work, and educational events.
- Prepare worksheets, classroom materials, educational resources, displays, activity areas, and safely maintained classroom equipment.
- Support reading, writing, mathematics, language, study skills, educational technology, and other age-appropriate learning activities.
- Observe student progress, participation, behavior, and learning needs; maintain records and report concerns through appropriate procedures.
