Teacher Aide (HS Student)

In a Teacher Aide, we look for committed, organized, ambitious, caring, loving individuals who are excited about making a difference in the lives of our students and their families.

Our Teachers understand that this is more than just a job, they are joining a team, and their teammates will be working with and depending on them for success.

Some of the exciting things you will do as a Teacher Aide include, but are not limited to:

• Make a difference everyday!
• Work collaboratively with all teachers to ensure consistency throughout the program
• Work collaboratively and contribute to daily lesson plans that challenge students at all levels
• Communicate daily with parents through verbal face to face, email, daily sheets, etc.
• Work with and perform duties assigned by your lead teacher
• Represent Open Minds in a professional manner
• Build positive relationships in our surrounding communities
• Be a positive role model for your students
• Effectively manage your classroom/age group
• Attend monthly curriculum training (High Scope)

$12.00-$14.50 per/hour
