Talent Network for Cyber Security Analysts

Essential Duties include

• Understand tenets of the DOD Risk Management Framework (RMF) as it applies to complex systems-of-systems; in order to effectively:
• Work with Navy program offices to apply Cybersecurity laws, policies, and directives to Navy programs and systems;
• Provide technical Cybersecurity analysis support to the Program Office;
• Participate in the security design and review of Navy system architectures;
• Assess and recommend Cybersecurity controls for tactical systems that operate in unique environments;
• Evaluate next-generation technologies and architectural frameworks for implementation within high stress performance environments;
• Evaluate Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and similar artifacts for impacts to existing security postures.
• Maintain A&A documentation for the Program Office.

Education, Credentials, and/or Experience

Qualifications

• Desired Qualifications:
• Experience with COMSEC, TRANSEC, and/or Key Management requirements;
• Experience with Navy RF, including SATCOM communications.
• Required Knowledge and Abilities:
• Must be conversant with the Cybersecurity control sets delineated in NIST 800-53, and the process to apply tailored allocation to National Security Systems;
• Must have a working knowledge of DoD/DoN Physical, Personnel Security and Cybersecurity instructions and directives;
