Systems Engineer (Space S&T)

• Experience with commercial industry, venture-backed defense startups, Venture Capital (VC) sourcing, or technology scouting.
• Experience leveraging SBIR/STTR programs to transition commercial technology to defense applications.
• Experience tracking or aligning corporate Independent Research and Development (IRAD) programs with military requirements.
• Knowledge of modern business processes, agile project management, or collaborative toolsets to optimize program office workflows.
• Prior experience with naval or joint service systems, workflows, doctrine, and Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs).

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Approximately 1 trip per month, ranging from 1 to 7 days in duration.

Travel is primarily within the contiguous United States (CONUS) with infrequent (biennial) opportunities for international (OCONUS) travel.

Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from an accredited college or university in mathematics, engineering, physics, or related sciences plus 4 years of relevant work experience, or a Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in mathematics, engineering, physics, or related sciences plus 6 years of relevant work experience, or a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in mathematics, engineering, physics, or related sciences plus 8 years of relevant work experience.

RANGE: $140,000 - $175,000
