Systems Engineer III

Develop and utilize scripting solutions (Bash, PowerShell, Python) to automate operations and improve system efficiency

Ensure secure system design and compliance alignment, including access control, authentication, and secure communications

Communicate effectively with government stakeholders, program teams, and senior executives, providing technical guidance and status reporting

Maintain technical integrity and quality of deliverables, while managing or supporting complex, high-risk programs

Supervise and mentor technical staff, establishing best practices and state-of-the-art engineering approaches

Stay current with emerging technologies and drive their evaluation and integration into enterprise environments

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institute in technical discipline; an additional 4 years of may be substituted in lieu of a degree

Minimum six (6) years of directly related experience

Demonstrated experience with: Systems engineering lifecycle (requirements, design, integration, testing Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and Configuration as Code (Ansible) CI/CD pipeline development (GitLab CI or similar) Containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm) Server deployment, domain management, and system integration Scripting/automation (Bash, PowerShell, Python) Secrets management and secure system design Development of technical documentation, SOPs, and architecture diagrams

Systems engineering lifecycle (requirements, design, integration, testing

Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)

Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and Configuration as Code (Ansible) CI/CD pipeline development (GitLab CI or similar)

Server deployment, domain management, and system integration

Scripting/automation (Bash, PowerShell, Python)

Secrets management and secure system design

Development of technical documentation, SOPs, and architecture diagrams

Proven ability to work independently, lead technical efforts, and solve complex problems

Must possess current DoD 8570 IAT II and Microsoft Certified Professional (or equivalent) certification

Current active TS/SCI clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph
