HJF is seeking a Systems Engineer II , under the direction of the Sr. Manager, IT Systems Engineering, designs, implements, secures, and maintains Linux systems across on-premises and cloud environments in support of research and administrative operations. The role serves as a technical resource for hybrid-cloud infrastructure, Microsoft Azure, regulated computing environments, and IT service management practices, including systems that may support NIST 800-171-aligned security requirements. The Systems Engineer II works independently while collaborating effectively with technical teams, subject matter experts, business partners, and customers to deliver reliable, supportable, and compliant technology solutions.
This position will be in support of the Office of the Chief Information Officer.

Highschool Diploma or GED required. Vocational or technical degree/Bachelor’s degree preferred.
