About the Role

Responsibilities
- Oversee day to day operations of CCTV infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network components
- Perform routine health checks, updates, and patching on CCTV servers and storage systems
- Monitor system performance metrics using Windows Performance Monitor and SQL Server Management Studio
- Troubleshoot hardware failures, network latency issues, and integration problems with VMS
- Implement backup and recovery procedures for video archives
- Design, deploy, and maintain HCI clusters supporting CCTV and core venue services
- Configure and manage virtualization platforms (e.g., Hyper V, VMware) for scalable workloads
- Design and maintain failover clustering and Always On availability groups for SQL databases
- Integrate CCTV and HCI infrastructure with cloud platforms for hybrid storage, backup, and disaster recovery
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and organizational standards
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands on experience in IT infrastructure management
- At least 2 years focused on surveillance or video systems and HCI
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate (or equivalent)
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification
- In depth familiarity with SQL Server Always On Availability Groups
- Expertise in Windows Server Failover Clustering (WSFC)
- Advanced proficiency in Windows Server 2019/2022 administration

Role Purpose
- Responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of CCTV surveillance systems and hyper converged infrastructure (HCI) to ensure reliable, high availability video monitoring and core infrastructure services across Sports Venues.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day to day operations of CCTV infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network components.
- Perform routine health checks, updates, and patching on CCTV servers and storage systems.
- Monitor system performance metrics using tools like Windows Performance Monitor and SQL Server Management Studio.
- Troubleshoot hardware failures, network latency issues, and integration problems with video management software (VMS).
- Implement backup and recovery procedures for video archives to prevent data loss.
- Design, deploy, and maintain hyper converged infrastructure (HCI) clusters supporting CCTV and core venue services.
- Configure and manage virtualization platforms (e.g., Hyper V, VMware) for scalable video and infrastructure workloads.
- Optimize cluster resources, including shared storage (SAN/NAS) and network load balancing.
- Perform firmware and software updates for HCI nodes.
- Ensure high availability and rapid failover for mission critical systems.
- Design and maintain failover clustering and Always On availability groups for SQL databases.
- Set up and test Windows Server Failover Clustering (WSFC) for redundant CCTV and HCI server nodes.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands on experience in IT infrastructure management, with at least 2 years focused on surveillance or video systems and HCI.
- Proven track record in deploying and troubleshooting high availability environments in enterprise settings.
- Experience working in a 24/7 operational environment, including on call rotations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate (or equivalent).
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate (preferred).
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification.
Required Skillset
- SQL Always On: In depth familiarity with configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting SQL Server Always On Availability Groups.
- Failover Clustering: Expertise in Windows Server Failover Clustering (WSFC), including quorum configuration, shared storage integration, and automated failover testing.
- Windows Server Operations: Advanced proficiency in Windows Server 2019/2022 administration, including Active Directory, PowerShell scripting, Hyper V virtualization, and performance optimization.
- Knowledge of IP based CCTV protocols (e.g., ONVIF, RTSP), network troubleshooting (VLANs, QoS for video traffic), and basic scripting in PowerShell or Python.
- Experience with HCI platforms (e.g., Nutanix, VMware vSAN, Microsoft Azure Stack HCI) is highly desirable.
Compensation
- Pay: QAR 1.00 QAR 2.00 per month
