Role Overview
Join Nokia’s Optical Architecture group to lead the design and architecture of novel optical DWDM communication systems.
Architect and implement software platforms in collaboration with systems architecture, systems engineering, and software development teams.
Develop architectures and requirements for packet-optical telecommunications products, including optical line systems, ROADMs, transponders, OTN switches, and related network elements.
Key Responsibilities
- Define system and product concepts, features, requirements, customer use cases, and experience expectations with Product Line Management.
- Translate product requirements into system architectural specifications and requirements.
- Establish software architectural specifications with architects and software developers.
- Lead cross-functional feature teams and build consensus on product architecture and technical concepts.
- Provide architecture expertise to software development teams and maintain implementation alignment.
- Document product architecture, requirements, and concepts in clear, concise, and consistent specifications.
- Investigate feature requests and customer requirements, propose solutions, and assess feasibility.
- Collaborate on customer documentation describing product features and operational concepts.
