Systems Analyst II

Minimum Position Requirements

• Education and Experience: • Degree or diploma in Computer Science, with an emphasis on information systems management • Minimum five years of working experience as a Database Administrator supporting or related experience
• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Demonstrated knowledge of a specific database technology, e.g. Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, Azure SQL Database and Azure SQL Managed Instance • Knowledge of implementing high availability solutions for Oracle and SQL Server • Familiarity with specific operating system, e.g. Windows, Linux, Unix • Knowledge of storage technologies, networking, server architecture and server virtualization • Knowledge of data architecture design and modeling techniques • Knowledge of program design concepts • Knowledge of data security techniques and protocols • Knowledge of current database & data integration platform trends, standards, and products in Information Technology • Strong analytical and problem solving skills • Excellent oral, written and presentation/facilitation skills, with ability to communicate at all levels within the organization • Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities and respond to requests in a timely manner • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of internal and external contacts and team members to provide advice, information and assistance • Proficiency in office productivity tools (e.g. Windows, Office, MS Project, etc.) • Highly trustworthy; capable of handling business critical and sensitive information
