MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Systems Administrator to join our team in San Diego, CA . This is an onsite position.
In this role, you will support national security by maintaining critical enterprise infrastructure, troubleshooting site outages, and executing dual network and system administration, including direct support for the 0100–0900 morning shift to ensure continuous operational readiness and incident response support.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to
Administer, configure, and maintain Windows servers, workstations, domain controllers, cloud resources, VMware, and enterprise storage.
Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot KG-175 (TACLANE) cryptographic inline network encryptors, troubleshoot network connectivity, baseline routers/switches, and perform rapid troubleshooting for critical site outages.
Perform user account management, log and triage ticketing system incidents, and resolve or escalate technical issues.
Perform automated patching, vulnerability remediation (ACAS/Nessus), system hardening, and media transfers in coordination with the ISSO.
Perform remote site surveys, identify hardware and cabling requirements, configure baseline hardware, and handle equipment shipping and inventory.
Ability to consistently work the assigned 0100–0900 morning shift (including potential weekend or holiday coverage) and travel up to 25%, both CONUS and OCONUS as required
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of information technology or related experience; an Associates degree with 6+ years of related experience, or High School Diploma with 10+ years of related experience can be substituted in lieu of a degree
DoD 8570 IAT Level II compliance required (e.g., Security+ CE or equivalent)
