Role Overview
Direct-hire Systems Administrator (DevOps) role focused on modernizing infrastructure and improving operational reliability.
The environment is primarily Windows-based and includes automation, deployment, monitoring, security, and legacy-system improvements.
Workplace and Hiring Conditions
- This is a hybrid position with on-site requirements 2–3 days per week.
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Modernize and standardize Windows-centric infrastructure.
- Automate system administration, access management, and operational processes.
- Improve Active Directory with automated group assignments and role-based access controls.
- Develop PowerShell and shell scripts for operational tasks and deployments.
- Support CI/CD initiatives and deployment automation using TeamCity and related tools.
- Improve infrastructure and application monitoring, alerting, and observability.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, systems administration, help desk, and engineering teams.
- Support Azure, Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike, virtualization platforms, and Linux infrastructure.
- Establish practices for version control, change management, documentation, and deployment.
