Role Overview
Wipro is hiring a System Engineer L2 for technical support activities in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
The role focuses on troubleshooting end-user technology issues and resolving customer requests through remote support.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot Windows, Outlook, Teams, Citrix, VDI, VPN, and security application issues over remote support.
- Answer incoming calls and respond to customer emails in a timely manner.
- Manage and resolve customer complaints and provide product and service information.
- Research issues, identify solutions, and route calls or tickets to appropriate resources.
- Document calls according to standard procedures and complete call logs and reports.
- Escalate issues to supervisors and alert management to trends in customer calls.
- Create standard operating procedures for new issues and their resolutions.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of relevant experience.
- Technical support experience.
- Technical knowledge of troubleshooting base operating system issues.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle irate customers empathetically.
