Responsibilities
- Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support for office employees on site in Dubai
- Configure, deploy, and support MacBooks as primary work devices
- Manage employee onboarding and offboarding cycles (laptop provisioning, account creation, access revocation)
- Manage day to day office IT infrastructure: Wi Fi, LAN, printers, meeting room setup, VoIP
- Administer Okta across full user lifecycle including SSO, MFA, and access policies
- Support cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) in collaboration with DevOps
- Perform basic monitoring and initial incident triage
Requirements
- 2 3 years of hands on experience as a System Administrator
- Solid experience with macOS and MacBook provisioning
- Practical experience administering Okta (user lifecycle, SSO, MFA)
- Working knowledge of Linux fundamentals and core networking concepts
- Experience with Google Workspace and/or Microsoft 365
- Hands on experience with VPN solutions
- Understanding of access control and IAM principles
- Clear communication in English

About This Role
- System Administrator in Dubai responsible for office IT, device management, identity access, and cloud support.
- Works with autonomy, supported by DevOps team, to bring order, security, and simplicity to internal systems.
Office IT & Local Support
- Providing 1st and 2nd line IT support for office employees on site in Dubai.
- Configuring, deploying, and supporting MacBooks as the primary work device.
- Owning full employee onboarding and offboarding cycle.
- Managing day to day office IT infrastructure: Wi Fi, LAN, printers, meeting room setup, VoIP.
- Maintaining IT asset inventory and overseeing device lifecycle.
- Coordinating with external vendors (ISPs, telecom, hardware partners).
Device Management & macOS
- Preparing and maintaining clean, secure macOS environments.
- Managing MDM solutions (Jamf, Kandji, Intune) to keep endpoints consistent.
- Enforcing endpoint security controls: disk encryption, screen lock policies.
- Supporting corporate applications and VPN on macOS.
Identity, Access & Okta (IAM/SSO)
- Administering Okta across full user lifecycle (Joiner, Mover, Leaver).
- Integrating Okta with Google Workspace and/or Microsoft 365.
- Managing role based access control (RBAC) and least privilege principles.
- Supporting audit and compliance requirements for IAM.
Cloud & Infrastructure Support
- Supporting cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) in collaboration with DevOps.
- Assisting with IAM policies, VPN configuration, bastion host access.
- Performing basic monitoring and initial incident triage.
- Supporting backup and restore procedures.
- Participating in infrastructure and security improvement initiatives.
About You
- 2 3 years hands on experience as a System Administrator.
- Solid macOS experience and MacBook provisioning.
- Practical Okta administration experience.
- Working knowledge of Linux fundamentals and networking.
- Experience with Google Workspace and/or Microsoft 365.
- Hands on VPN experience.
- Understanding of access control and IAM principles.
- Clear English communication.
Bonus Points
- Experience in fintech, banking, or security sensitive environment.
- Familiarity with Docker.
- Exposure to Terraform or Ansible.
- Hands on MDM experience (Jamf, Kandji, Intune).
- Knowledge of Cloudflare Zero Trust.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS).
