Responsibilities
- Deliver high quality swimming lessons for babies, preschool, children, and adults
- Plan and deliver lessons in line with the Fitness Champs Learn to Swim pathway
- Create engaging, safe, and enjoyable learning environments
- Monitor swimmer progress and provide feedback to parents
- Carry out swimmer assessments and recommend class progression
- Build positive relationships with swimmers, parents, schools, and community
- Deliver outstanding customer service
- Complete attendance registers and swimmer records accurately
- Support holiday camps, school programmes, and special events
- Ensure compliance with policies and health and safety procedures
- Maintain a clean, organised, and professional teaching environment
Requirements
- Recognised Swim Teacher qualification (STA, Swim England, ASA, AUSTSWIM, or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years' experience teaching swimming across multiple age groups and abilities
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Strong understanding of Learn to Swim pathways
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work evenings and weekends
