Join PVM’s Group Procurement function and support the sustainable sourcing strategy in collaboration with Group Sustainability.
The role supports sustainability goals across procurement, supplier value chains, compliance activities, and long-term business change.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate execution of the sustainable sourcing strategy aligned with PVM sustainability goals.
- Support policies and expertise on responsible sourcing, due diligence, traceability, and value-chain reporting.
- Collect supplier environmental and social data and support analysis, communication, digitalization, and data exchange.
- Contribute to procurement systems and process projects supporting traceability and sustainability objectives.
- Ensure adherence to regulations and voluntary certification schemes for PVM value chains.
- Build stakeholder relationships, deliver data, and publish regular and ad hoc reports and metrics.
- Develop sustainability targets, reduction measures, and Scope 3 carbon reduction roadmaps for packaging and raw materials.
- Work with Regulatory, R&D, Legal, suppliers, procurement, sustainability, and other stakeholders.
- Support systemic change, technical solution gaps, change management, and integration of compliance activities.
- Collaborate with suppliers on ESG training, implementation, and ongoing monitoring.
- Prepare progress updates for the Procurement Sustainability Lead and other stakeholders.
- Share environmental knowledge and suggest training for operational procurement teams.
Experience and qualifications
- About 5 or more years of procurement or sourcing experience across the agrifood value chain.
- A keen interest in sustainability and a desire to contribute to sustainability objectives.
- Experience with KPIs related to Scope 3 goals, circularity, and social procurement in a multinational or regional FMCG organization.
- Awareness of evolving regulations including CSRD, CSDDD, EUDR, and other global regulatory frameworks.
- Strong experience with supplier certification standards and audit schemes such as SEDEX.
- Commercial awareness, high numeracy, strong analytical and negotiation skills, and a pragmatic approach.
- Experience with sustainable packaging procurement or environmental and corporate sustainability goals is a plus.
- International experience, cross-cultural communication, empathy, and stakeholder management capabilities.
