The Sustainability Manager is a part-time, remote role at SM Pixel Media.
The role integrates sustainability principles into company operations and client-facing initiatives.
The position involves assessing practices, reducing environmental impact, and recommending strategies aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess current sustainability practices and identify opportunities to reduce environmental impact.
- Recommend corporate sustainability strategies aligned with business goals.
- Coordinate sustainability policy development.
- Track performance metrics and prepare internal and external sustainability reports.
- Research sustainable development trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed sustainability into marketing projects.
- Communicate progress to leadership and stakeholders.
- Support training and awareness efforts promoting responsibility and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Candidates should have corporate sustainability and sustainable development skills.
- Strong analytical skills are required to evaluate performance, interpret data, and identify improvement areas.
- Clear and professional communication skills are required for reporting, presentations, and stakeholder engagement.
- Candidates should have sustainability reporting experience, including metrics, data compilation, and framework alignment.
- A degree in environmental studies, sustainability, business, or a related field is beneficial.
- Experience with digital marketing, media, or technology organizations is advantageous.
- Candidates must be able to work independently in a remote, part-time setting, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of emerging sustainability regulations, best practices, and industry benchmarks is preferred.
