Head of Technology

The Head of Technology at SM Pixel Media is a part-time, remote role responsible for leading the company’s overall technology vision and execution.

This role oversees IT operations, infrastructure reliability, and security to ensure systems support current and future business needs.

Day-to-day tasks include defining and refining IT strategy, evaluating and implementing tools and platforms that optimize digital marketing delivery, and ensuring seamless integration across applications and services.

The Head of Technology collaborates with leadership and cross-functional teams to align technology initiatives with business goals, manages vendor relationships, and establishes best practices, processes, and documentation for the technology function.

• Strong foundation in Information Technology and infrastructure, with the ability to design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable systems.
• Experience in IT Management and IT Operations, including overseeing day-to-day support, monitoring, and continuous improvement of technology environments.
• Proven ability in IT Strategy, with experience aligning technology roadmaps to organizational objectives and supporting digital transformation initiatives.
• Background in infrastructure planning and optimization, including cloud services, networking, and system performance tuning.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, including stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration, and vendor coordination.
• Familiarity with digital marketing tools, analytics platforms, and automation solutions is highly beneficial.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills; ability to work independently in a remote, part-time capacity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
