Position Duties

Saint Paul College seeks energetic and dedicated individuals to apply for one unlimited, full-time (1.0) Surgical Technology Instructor position. This position requires an individual that is a Certified Surgical Technologist and can provide current certification number from The Association of Surgical Technologists. Minimum Qualifications

Education Requirement - Associate's degree in any discipline/field and a graduate of a CAAHEP accredited program in surgical technology or Associate's degree in nursing. Occupational Experience Requirement - Four full-time years (or equivalent) of verified operating room experience as a practicing surgical technologist (scrub role) or an operating room nurse including scrub experience. Recency Requirement - One year of this work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application for the credential field. The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) postsecondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years. Professional Requirment - Certified Surgical Technician by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA formerly LCC-ST).
