- This position leads a team of procurement professionals, overseeing RFPs, proposal campaigns, negotiation strategy and cost accountability as developing supplier relationships. Develops strategies to minimize the organization’s purchasing costs without compromising quality or reliability of supply.
What You Will Do:
- Manages execution of procurement processes, standards, and operational plans, including RFPs, negotiations, cost accountability, and program execution
- Demonstrates strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS, as well as commercial and military procurement practices.
- Develops and implements procurement strategies aligned with organizational and contractual objectives.
- Ensures compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and all regulatory standards.
- Leads detailed spend analyses, including category segmentation, cost modeling, price‐variance analysis, and savings tracking.
- Drives data‐supported contract negotiations using benchmark analysis, total cost models, and risk evaluations.
- Improves procurement workflows through process mapping, automation opportunities, and system optimization.
- Cultivates and maintains performance‐based supplier relationships to drive measurable results.
