Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to coordinate the delivery of materials and resources according to program schedules.
- Ensure accurate care, tracking, and updates for all customers' stock items.
- Communicate to purchasing team shelf life expiration of chemicals, min max requirements of parts, and notify and track the calibration and inspection of tools.
- Coordinate the receiving and delivery of all parts and tools within the hangar with the purchasing team and customer.
- Manage the receiving process, including identifying and evaluating suppliers, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, including ITAR, EAR, and other defense industry export controls.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure a reliable and efficient supply chain.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and ensure strong communication within the internal departments with key stakeholders.
Requirements
- Preferred experience in supply chain within the defense industry
- Strong understanding of defense procurement processes and regulations
- Proven track record of managing complex supply chain operations and driving continuous improvement
- Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools, including ERP systems
- Understanding of defense industry export controls, including ITAR and EAR regulations
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
