Job Overview
- The Supply Chain Manager will oversee end to end supply chain process including procurement, logistics, inventory management, warehousing, vendor relations, and shipment coordination.
- The role is critical in ensuring operational efficiency, cost optimization, timely deliveries, and compliance across UAE and GCC operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead procurement strategies across raw materials, packaging, spare parts, capital machineries, repair and maintenance, and services.
- Manage inventory levels, implement inventory control procedures, and minimize waste and obsolescence.
- Manage supplier relationships, performance reviews, and cost negotiations.
- Coordinate sea, land, and air freight movements of imported items.
- Supervise freight forwarding, customs clearance, and documentation requirements.
- Liaise with third party logistics providers to ensure efficient routing and cost management.
- Monitor stock turnover and reduce inventory holding costs while preventing stock outs.
- Coordinate with operations and finance for inventory reconciliation and audits.
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks in the supply chain to improve cycle times and cost effectiveness.
- Develop contingency plans for supply chain disruptions and geopolitical risks.
- Drive digital transformation and automation of supply chain processes.
- Track KPIs across delivery timelines, cost savings, and supplier performance.
Qualifications
- Experience in supply chain management, including procurement, logistics, and inventory management.
- Knowledge of regulatory and contractual requirements in UAE and GCC.
- Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
