Job Summary
The Supply Chain Lead is responsible for overseeing and optimizing end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, demand planning, warehousing, logistics, and supplier performance.
The role ensures product availability, cost efficiency, and compliance with company policies while supporting business objectives and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate supply chain activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to improve performance and reduce costs.
- Manage inventory levels to maintain optimal stock availability and minimize shortages or excess inventory.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure timely sourcing of materials and products.
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong relationships with vendors.
- Coordinate logistics and transportation activities to ensure on-time delivery.
- Analyze supply chain data and prepare reports on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Identify risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate supply chain disruptions.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Production, Quality, Sales, and Finance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, or inventory management.
- Experience in Pharmaceutical sector
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of supply chain planning and inventory control principles.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
