Supplier Quality Engineer

Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial or Material Science Engineering.

Has a combination of at least 3-5 years manufacturing, quality or supply quality engineering experience. Quality and Supply Quality most important

Has experience in the electronics assembly, electrical equipment, semiconductor manufacturing industry, or allied industries is a plus.

Ability to speak Spanish and French is a plus

ETQ, JD Edwards software quality experience is a plus. Experience with any ERP is acceptable

Must have demonstrated knowledge of and experience with FMEA, Control Plan, statistical process control, inspection equipment and techniques, root cause and failure analysis, capability studies, statistical distributions, machine and assembly processes, problem solving, team facilitation, and geometric dimensioning and tolerance.

Has experience with report writing in Microsoft Word™, Power Point™, and analysis using Minitab required.

ASQ Certification of Quality Engineer, Six Sigma Black Belt or Lean Certification is a plus.

PPAP Processes and tools

Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, or IATF 16949 required.

Innovative problem solver, familiar with 7 or 8-step / 8D problem solving methodologies. Not required 8D, but for our information as an example

Strong team building and selling skills

Must be able to work with Manufacturing at all levels of the organization
