The Supervisor, System Development is key to ensure effective execution of delivery activities and support the managers to achieve delivery goals on time and within budget. This role focuses on leadership and supervision of the delivery activities, including collaborating with managers, recruiting team members, managing performance and managing stakeholder relationship.
Provide leadership and direction to the system development team, including recruiting, coaching, performance management, and career development planning.
Facilitate delivery of backlog items.
Work with the team to identify opportunities on continuously improvement
Support manager, team lead and product owner in prioritization of backlog items.
Participate in project activities throughout initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and closing.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to foster healthy project environments.
Monitor development processes and reports to ensure that development activities are executed effectively and efficiently.
Monitor system delivery Key Performance Indicators
Address issues that cause missing KPI and project targets.
Work with team members to analyze issues that arise in the execution of project actvities, tools and processes.
Escalate issues to the project manager on time when needed.

Working to expert level of knowledge and understanding of system development life cycle and agile practices is required. This includes an in-depth understanding of tools and techniques.

Expected salary range $72,847 - $121,411
The salary amount for the successful candidate is determined by Co-operators in its discretion and will vary depending on several criteria including but not limited to: local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualification, experience and education.
Employees may also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn additional compensation tied to individual and/or business performance, or other business metrics.
